What is a paralegal and what do they do?
A Paralegal is qualified to do everything an Attorney is, however Paralegals are
not allowed to represent a party in Court or give legal advice.
Why would I use a paralegal?
The
purpose of using a Paralegal is to save money. A Paralegal's rates are much more affordable than an Attorney.
If
I hire a paralegal, do I not need an attorney?
There are certain instances where a person might have to hire an
Attorney towards the end of their case if it is decided that they must go to Court, or they decided that they would
feel more comfortable being represented.
